These terms apply when you commission design work from Dizzignr. Paying a deposit, an invoice, or a consultation fee means you accept them.
Dizzignr is a design studio based in Miami, Florida. "We", "us" and "our" mean Dizzignr. "You" and "your" mean the person or business commissioning the work. Contact: info@dizzignr.com.
A quote is valid for 30 days from the date we send it, and describes the specific deliverables it covers. Work is commissioned when you approve a quote or pay an invoice.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing:
We do not release final production files until the balance has cleared. Draft files shared for review during the project are watermarked or low-resolution and are not licensed for release or commercial use.
A consultation is booked with a $20 fee. If you go on to commission work, that $20 is credited against your project total. The fee is not refundable if you do not attend, or if you attend and decide not to proceed — it covers the time reserved for you.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Brief | You send your requirements, references and any brand material. Timelines start from when we receive a complete brief, not from your payment date. |
| 2. First draft | Delivered within 7–10 business days of a complete brief, unless we tell you otherwise for a larger project. |
| 3. Revisions | 2 rounds included per deliverable. You review through a private link and send your notes. |
| 4. Final files | On your approval and once the balance clears, full-resolution files are delivered by Dropbox link. |
A round is one consolidated set of notes on a draft. Sending notes in several separate messages after we have started work on them may be treated as more than one round, so please gather your feedback before returning it.
Revisions are refinements to the agreed direction — colour, type, layout, detail. A request to change direction entirely, or to add a deliverable not in the original quote, is new work: it consumes a round, and if it is substantially outside the quoted scope we will quote it separately before proceeding.
Additional rounds beyond those included are $20 each, payable in advance. A purchased round is available once payment clears.
Stated timeframes are business days and are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. The clock pauses whenever we are waiting on something from you — a brief, feedback, brand assets, or a payment. Where you have bought several deliverables in advance, each one's timeline starts when you brief that specific piece.
Once you have paid in full, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers to you, and you may use them for the purpose they were commissioned for — including commercial release, streaming artwork, merchandise and promotion.
Until payment is complete, all work remains our property and is not licensed for any use.
We retain:
Third-party assets — fonts, stock imagery, plugins — remain under their own licences. Where a deliverable depends on one, we will tell you, and any licence you need to hold is your responsibility.
You can cancel at any time by telling us in writing.
If we cancel a project for any reason other than your breach of these terms, we will refund amounts paid for work not yet performed.
Please raise any concern about a charge with us before disputing it with your bank — a chargeback filed on delivered work does not remove your obligation to pay for it.
We keep project files for 12 months after final delivery, after which they may be deleted. Please download and back up your files when you receive them. Re-supplying files after that period, where still possible, may carry a retrieval fee.
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profit, lost revenue, or the cost of a delayed release.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the one in effect when you accepted them — we record the version, date and time of your acceptance. Changes do not apply retroactively to work already commissioned.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and the courts of Miami-Dade County have jurisdiction over any dispute.
